Utilizing Podcasts

Podcasts are a wonderful way to leverage time spent exercising, driving, or relaxing by listening to an interview or audio recording on a topic of interest to you. The name, Podcast, comes from the very popular Apple media device known as an iPod, but you don't need an iPod to enjoy and utilize a Podcast. Go figure.

One Podcast that I subscribe to is the Speaking of Faith radio series from American Public Media. It features some excellent and thought provoking interviews and feature stories. The web site also has a wonderful tutorial on how to get started with Podcasts .

I recommend using the iTunes option for either PC or Mac computers. Just follow the simple steps outlined on the page and start enjoying this wonderful new medium for information access.
